Safety gas valve low flame adjustment:
1.
To adjust the low flame on safety gas valve, turn ON the main burner and set the knob to low
flame.
2.
Pull out the knob.
3.
Turn the low flame bypass screw counterclockwise to increase the flame and clockwise to
decrease the flame.
4.
For Natural Gas, the lowest or smallest low flame that it can be adjusted to is at “Fully” closed
position.
5.
For LPG/Butane/Propane, the default setting of the low flame bypass screw is 90
°
open. For
LPG/Butane/Propane, it is highly recommended not to adjust the low flame bypass screw
lower than 90
°
, as backfire will occur.
