Digital reception – Channel search
When you place your television set in service for the very first time, simply follow the installation guide to locate and memorise the
channels that are available in your region.This guided installation is described below.
When turning on the TV for the first time, a menu giving the choice of languages appears. If it is not the first time the set has been
turned on, see the paragraph Later Set-ups (see below).
Guided installation

Confirm with OK.A list of countries is displayed.

Select the country using the

keys.
This is the country were you are located, or the country from which you wish to receive channels
if you are located on a border region.

Confirm with OK.A welcome message is displayed.

For projection televisions, a focus adjustment menu is displayed (in this case, see page xx).
For television sets, the menu allows selection of the type of reception.
Select Digital channels.

Start the automatic installation by pressing OK.
The screen indicates the TV channels and radio stations detected during the automatic search.
Later Set-ups
Press the DIGITAL key on the remote control.
Using the MENU key, display the OVERVIEW, then select the Installation line and confirm
with OK.
The INSTALLATION MAIN MENU is displayed. Select the Installation line and display
the menu by pressing OK.
The PIN code may be requested.
Select the Channels line. Confirm with OK to display the Channels menu.
In the Channels menu select Install and press the OK key, a new menu is displayed.
Scan type : Using the Left / Right keys select the type of scan required.
Automatic : Scans for all the digital channels broadcast in your region. Press OK to start the
scan.
Advanced :Allows the set-up scan to target predetermined frequencies.
Using the
/
keys, select a frequency and confirm with the OK key.
You can in the same way select several frequencies.
Press Red key to start the set-up.
Press EXIT as many times as necessary to quit the menus.

Adding channels:
If new channels begin to broadcast, to can add them to the channels already found,
to do this proceed as described in the paragraph Later Set-ups (see above).
The channels already memorised are not deleted.
To delete channels
By selecting Effacer in the Chaînes menu, you can delete all the memorised TV
channels and Radio stations.You must then carry out a new channel set-up as des-
cribed in Later Set-ups.
This function allows you, when you move house, to delete the channels that no lon-
ger serve.
