Everyday use
Selection of channels or radio stations:
- Via the numeric keys: for channels or radio stations from 1 to 9, press the corresponding
numeric key. For channels or radio stations having several digits, enter the channel numbers
one after the other.
Note: the time between entering 2 successive numbers must be as short as possible.
- Via the PR+ / PR- keys: scroll through the channels or radio stations. AV programmes are
not included in this loop but can be accessed using the PR +/ PR – keys of the television set
or the AV key on the remote control.
- Via the channels list: see page 18.
Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) (Digital reception)
If you press the GUIDE key a screen is displayed which permits:
- either to access the different programme times of the current day,
- or to access the programmes for the following day.
Past programmes are not accessible.
- Change to following or previous channels using the PR+/PR- keys.
- Directly access a channel using the numeric keys.
- Toggle between the TV and radio modes using the TV and RADIO keys.
- Use the Green and Red keys to respectively view previous or following pages.
Today’s programmes
Press the GUIDE key to display the programme guide.
1. Select the programme for which you want information.
2. Press the Yellow key to display the programme overview.
To exit, press the EXIT key.
The week’s programmes
Press the GUIDE key to display the programme guide.
1. Using the Green key, select the following day.
Red key allows to return to previous day.
2. Select the programme for which you want to obtain information.
3. Press the Yellow key to display the programme overview.
Pressing again Yellow key returns to channels list.
Note : while Programme guide is displayed you can access Timer menu using the Blue key.That allows
you to set an automatic turn on if you wish to record a programme (see page 12)
To exit the Programme Guide, press the EXIT key.
Zoom: on 16/9 models you can enlarge the picture broadcast in 4/3 format
letterbox (black strips at top and bottom of the screen).
First press the EXIT key if there is a menu on the screen and select the zoom using the
keys:
ZOOM 0 4/3 picture (black strips on the sides).
ZOOM 1 for letterbox picture centred on the screen (without subtitles).
ZOOM 1 (ST) for offset letterbox picture to see the subtitles.
CINERAMA 4/3 picture filling the screen.
If the Zoom auto is activated in the Préférences menu, your choice is valid until you change chan-
nel.
Access to audiovisual programmes
Press the AV key to summon the last audiovisual programme (AV) viewed, press again to sum-
mon the other audiovisual programmes.
These are also accessible from the channels list when using analogue reception (see page 18).
