Analogue reception – Automatically set-up channels
When you first place your television set in service, simply follow the guided installation to set-up and memorise the channels avai-
lable in your region.This guided installation is described below.
When turning on the TV for the first time, a menu giving the choice of languages appears. If it is not the first time the set has been
turned on, see the paragraph Manual Installation to run an Automatic Installation.

Confirm with OK.A list of countries is displayed.

Select the country using the
or
keys.
This is the country were you are located, or the country from which you wish to receive the chan-
nels if you are located on a border region.

Confirm with OK.A welcome message is displayed.

For projection televisions, a focus adjustment menu is displayed (in this case, see page 14).
For television sets, the menu allows selection of the type of reception.
Select Analogue channels.

Start the automatic installation by pressing OK.
The menu that appears informs you of the progression of the installation. Wait for the end of ins-
tallation message before exiting the menu, otherwise all the channels will not have been memo-
rised. Depending on the number of channels that your set can receive, the automatic installation may
take up to 10 minutes.
The television sorts the channels in a predefined order.
If you wish to modify this order, to name or rename channels,
Or to delete double entries, press OK and go to step 7.
OR
If you do not wish to reorganise the channels, exit the menu using the EXIT key.

The PROGRAMME ORGANISATION menu allows channels to be renamed,
to modify the order in which they are displayed or to delete double entries or those that
provide poor quality reception .
Follow the messages at the bottom of the screen. Identify the channels with the aid of a TV program-
me magazine
.
• To sort the channels: select the Select program. line.
Find the channel to which you wish to allocate a new number using the PR + and PR - keys,
or
keys, using the channel logos as a guide.The number already allocated appears in
the Select program. line.
Select the Swap with PR line, enter the selected number and press OK.
The channels switch places. Proceed in the same way for the other channels.
• To delete a channel: select the Select program. line.
Review the channels using the PR+ and PR- keys or
.
When you are on a channel you wish to delete, select Delete program and press OK.
Confirm by pressing OK again.
• To change the name: select the Change pr. name line and select the letter to change
with the
keys.
Scroll through the alphabet using the 1 and 2 keys.
The new name is taken into account once you change to another line or when you exit the
menu with EXIT.
This menu can later be found by selecting the Programme organisation line in the INSTAL-
LATION MAIN MENU.

Missing channels:
The setting-up of channels is carried out in relation to the country selected, see the
“Analogue reception – Manual set-up” section to set up channels that have
not been found.
If you are a cable TV subscriber, to scan for missing channels, select Other instead
of a country and run an automatic update.
Decoder:
If you connect a decoder to the AV1 connector, after the first installation, display the
MANUAL PROGRAMMING menu and confirm the Decoder option for the
channels concerned.
