Audio Out
Depending on the amplifier or TV your
appliance is connected to, you must set up the
COAXIAL digital audio output so that it
transmits the appropriate digital signals.
Select an option using the
and
buttons
and press
to confirm:
Off
: If you select Off, the signal is not output
through the COAXIAL digital out jack.
Raw
: Select this option if you connect the
COAXIAL digital out socket to an
amplifier or other equipment with a Dolby
Digital, DTS or MPEG decoder.
PCM
: Select this option when connected
to a two-channel digital stereo amplifier.
DVDs encoded in Dolby Digital or MPEG
will be automatically downmixed to two-
channel PCM audio.
Notes:
DTS is a digital sound compression
technique developed by Digital Theater Sound
Systems for digital multichannel audio signals.

are
trademarks of Dolby Laboratories. Manufactured

DRC (Dynamic Range)
You can use this function to control the
different sound levels via dynamic compression.
It improves the quality of the sound track at a
low volume and quietens the loudest sounds.
Select a level using the
and
buttons, and
press to
confirm.
Note:This function is available only on DVD discs
recorded in Dolby Digital.
DivX VOD
DivX VOD files are downloaded after paying a
rental from certain commercial websites. Prior
to downloading a VOD you need to input the
registration number of your DVD player on the
purchase form on the site.
Press
.Write down the VOD 8-character
registration number so that you can fill in the
form on the website you purchase your DivX
VOD files from.
