RS-232 and RS-485422 Wiring
This section describes the cabling necessary to connect a host PC to a
CIM using RS-232 and to connect to an RS-485 or RS-422 network

The host PC connection to the CIM requires a null-modem adapter, as
both devices believe they are DTE.
