7 - USING THE GROUP SELECTOR

Your remote control can manage 4 groups of
3 channels each. Move the group selector to
positions I, II, III, or IV to choose which group to
choose which group of devices to control.

Notes:

•  Each channel can operate up to 5 different

devices.

•  The 3-channel on and off buttons at the base

of the remote control only affect the devices
paired to the currently selected group.

8 - REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL
BATTERY

If you notice that the range of your remote control
is decreasing, the battery should be replaced. If
the remote control is paired with a Thombox, the
Thombox is informed of this.
Use a 3V CR2032 battery.

Under normal conditions, battery life is
approximately one year.

9 - MOTOR SAFETY FEATURES

The motor includes:

•  A thermal safety mechanism to prevent

damage to the motor.

•  A force sensor to avoid any damage to the

shutter.

The  thermal  safety  mechanism  is  designed  to
prevent  the  electric  shutter  motor  from  damage
(when the motor is overworked). This thermal safety
mechanism  is  triggered  if  the  shutter  operates  for
over 4 minutes, or at intervals which are too close
together to allow the motor to cool down. Wait 10-
15  minutes  and  the  shutter  will  return  to  normal
operation.  The  shutter  will  not  move  when  the
thermal safety mechanism is in place.

The force sensor is designed to prevent any damage
to the shutter in the event of sudden strain (when the
motor is stuck). The force sensor stops movement if
the shutter becomes stuck during its course. If this
does  happen,  identify  what  is  causing  the  shutter
to stick and remove the problem (sticking along the
course or need for grease/configuration, damage to
the shutter itself, something in the way) before the
shutter can function normally again.
