funnel (59).

 N

Screw up the steam safety closure (10) by again pressing and turning at
the same time.

M

Pull mains plug (78) out of the appliance and connect to mains.

N

Switch on the appliance at the master ON/OFF switch (16). The yellow

indicator lamp (12) signals that the appliance is ready for use.

lamp must now light up.

The heating time is approx. 7 minutes. The green indicator lamp (14)
signals that the appliance is ready for steam operations.

Steam-cleaning with cleaning cloth

For interim cleaning or carpet freshening. Surfaces to be cleaned with steam
only must be swept clean.

P

Fit the carpet spraying nozzle (39) to the 4-S cleaning nozzle (40). Lock
the holding clip (80) in position on the connecting pin on the carpet nozzle
(39). Fit the steam connector (50) to the steam connection point (41) on
the 4-S cleaning nozzle and lock the nozzle into position by turning in the
direction of the arrow.

Pull the cleaning cloth (23), which is provided with a rubber pull,
over the 4-S dusting nozzle (40). When cleaning with steam only, the
cleaning cloth serves to collect the detached dirt. Changing the cleaning
cloth regularly will improve dirt collection.

  O

   You can begin cleaning by pressing the button (30) on the handle;

steam will then be emitted from the nozzle.

  N

You can set the desired quantity of steam with the steam regulator (9). The

maximum steam quantity is recommended when cleaning hard floors.

Working with the steam pistol

You can use the steam gun without accessories, e.g. for
–  "moist dusting", i.e. gentle steaming of the surface to be cleaned, which is

then wiped dry with a clean cloth

– cleaning stainless steel (sinks, taps, etc.)
– cleaning roller blinds, radiators, car interiors
– removing smells and creases from garments
– garden furniture.

See "General preparation" (Point 6.4)"

J

Place tube/hose system in standby position (8) or remove completely.

T

   Remove system plug (34, Fig.

B

) and insert the steam connector (70)

located on the steam hose (69) into the system socket (11) in place of the
system plug until it locks into position.

To remove the steam connector, press and hold the red release button
(72) while pulling out the steam connector.

V

After pressing the button (71) on the steam pistol (68), the steam will begin

to flow from the pistol.

N

You can set the desired quantity of steam on the steam regulator (9).

Working with the spot jet nozzle

You can use this handy nozzle to clean, for example,
– inaccessible areas (corners, joints, etc.)
– the sanitary area (WC and similar)
– dissolving stains
– aluminium wheel rims (cars)
– enamelled surfaces
 – window frames

See "General preparation (Point 6.4)"

located on the steam hose of the iron into the system socket (11) in place
of the system plug, until it locks into position.

the steam connector.

W

Connect the mains plug (87) of the iron to a separate socket.

splitting box (88, Fig.

W

). It is quite safe to place this box on the floor.

Steam (pressure) ironing

W

To iron all fabrics, set the temperature controller (83) on the iron to the

symbol at least. The emitted steam prevents overheating of the ironed
fabrics.

For cotton and linen, please select the appropriate symbols.

When indicator lamp (84) goes out, the iron is ready for use.

After pressing the button (85) on the iron, steam will begin to flow out of
the base of the iron.

N

You can set the desired quantity of steam on the steam regulator (9).

Please note!

To steam garments, curtains, etc., you can also hold the iron in vertical
position.
In hard water areas, the use of distilled water in the steam boiler is
recommended.

and the boiler is depressurised.

N

socket.

Screw up the steam safety closure (10) by pressing and turning at the
same time.

 S

Fill the steam boiler with a maximum of 1,3 litres of tap water, using the
funnel (59,

according to machine type)

.

Please note!

When pouring in water, please be extremely careful, as long as the boiler is
still hot. Water might spatter back (danger of scalding).

N

Screw up the steam safety closure (10) by again pressing and turning at
the same time.

Insert the mains plug in the socket and switch on mains switch (16) and
heater (15).
