Caution!

Danger of scalding under steam operation. Special care is called

for when working overhead, as hot water may drip down on the the opera-
tor!

Never use the cable to remove the plug from the socket, but always the plug

itself.

Please ensure that the electric cable is not exposed to heat or chemical fluids,

and is never dragged across sharp edges or over rough surfaces.

The use of extension leads in toilets, bathrooms or washrooms is generally to

be avoided.

Before cleaning, filling, emptying or maintaining, or in case

of a failure, turn off all switches and remove electric plug

from the mains socket.

Do not leave the appliance in the open, or subject moisture, or submerge in

water or other fluids, and do not store next to radiators.

Damage to the appliance or to accessories, or to the electrical cable (special

type required) should never be repaired by the customer, but by an autho-
rised service station; alterations to the appliance can be dangerous. Make
sure that only genuine replacement parts and accessories are used.

Dispose of the appliance, after cutting off the (disconnected) electrical plug,

according to local regulations.

Observe in addition the ‘Information and safety instructions

for use’ outlined in the individual chapters.
