Please read the instructions for use through with care They

include important information for safety, use and maintenance

of  the THOMAS SYNTHO AQUAFILTER. Please look after these

instructions carefully, and pass them on if appropriate to

the next owner. The manufacturer accepts no liability if the

following instructions are not complied with.

THOMAS SYNTHO AQUAFILTER is designed for household use exclusively

by adults.

Do not, ever, use the appliance if:

   - the mains lead is damaged,
   - it has visible signs of damage,
   - it has at some time been dropped.

The voltage given on the rating plate must comply with the power supply. Fuse

minimum rating 16A, UK: 13A; do not plug it in to multiple or adapter sockets.

Dispose of the packaging according to local regulations.

Never use the appliance in rooms where inflammable materials are stored,

or gases have accumulated.

Never leave the machine unattended when switched on, and do not let

children play with it.

Special care must be taken when cleaning stairs. Make sure that the app-

liance is standing stably on the stairs, and make sure that the tube is not
stretched beyond its normal length.

Never stand the appliance on

end because of danger of fluids spilling out.

Do not rest on the appliance, or overstretch or kink the pipes or tubes.

Warning!

This appliance design is not suitable for vacuuming up hazar-

dous materials, or fluids containing solvents e.g. paint thinners, oil, or petro-
leum or other corrosive liquids.

Do not vacuum up any very fine dust such as toner or soot, otherwise this
may impair the filter capacity of the appliance and cause damage.

The tubes, jets and tools should be kept away from the head when operating,

to protect e.g. eyes and ears.

Never direct the jet of cleaning material or steam at people, animals, sockets

or elctrical apparatus. Care is to be exercised when working overhead or
above items connected to the electric circuits such as light switches, or sockets,
as water can run down on to them.

People with sensitive skin should avoid direct contact with the cleaning solu-

tions; any contamination of mucous membranes, e.g. in the mouth or eyes,
must immediately be rinsed away with copious clean water.

After wet or damp operations, empty the containers. And remember, children

should never be allowed access to chemicals, such as cleaning materials, etc..

Only if original cleaning materials are used can proper funtioning of the

machine be guaranteed.

Warning!

Before switching on the steam boiler heater, always make sure

the steam safety-lock is securely closed. Because of the risk of overheating,
never warm up without the steam safety-lock closed.

The steam safety-lock cannot be opened until pressure has subsided. Never

use force to open it.

Only use  the original steam safety-locks (exchange only with original

replacement parts).

The steam boiler is only to be filled with pure water. Do not use any form of

additive here.

Caution! Do not press your hand on the steam safety closure
as long as the steam is under pressure in the boiler! Steam
can escape –  RISK OF SCOLFDING !
