For vehicles without OBD2 support
If your vehicle does not support the ODB2 system, install a T/S cable to prevent the alarm from sounding
when you turn on the indicators and change lanes.
•
Do not connect the indicator wires (green/white) of the T/S cable directly to the indicator lamps under the
hood. If the sheath of the wires is peeled off due to the heat of the engine or lamp, the product or vehicle
may be damaged
•
If you want to install the T/S cable on the vehicle, contact a Thinkware Premium Store or fitting
service center. If the product is not installed properly, the product may be damaged or electrical fire or
electrocution may result.
Lane departure warning methods depending on optional accessories
Optional accessory
Warning method
OBD2 cable
•
An alarm will sound when the turn signals are not turned on and the
vehicle leaves its lane at an OBD2 speed over 55 km/h.
•
If the turn signals are turned on when the vehicle leaves the lane, the
alarm will not sound.
External GPS module
An alarm will sound when the turn signals are not turned on and the vehicle
leaves its lane at a GPS speed over 50 km/h.
External GPS OBD2 cable
•
An alarm will sound when the turn signals are not turned on and the
vehicle leaves its lane at an OBD2 speed over 55 km/h.
•
If the turn signals are turned on when the vehicle leaves the lane, the
alarm will not sound.
External GPS T/S cable
•
An alarm will sound when the turn signals are not turned on and the
vehicle leaves its lane at an OBD2 speed over 55 km/h.
•
If the turn signals are turned on when the vehicle leaves the lane, the
alarm will not sound.
Setting the LDWS
•
To deactivate the LDWS, tap the Home button ( ) on the Live view screen

, and then tap the Setting button next to
LDWS (Lane Departure Warning)
to switch to
OFF
. To set
the warning sensitivity, select a sensitivity option (
Low / Mid / High
).
•
To align the lane guide lines of the LDWS, tap the Home menu button ( ) on the Live view screen

, and then tap the Reset button next to
Initialize LDWS
under
LDWS (Lane
Departure Warning)
.

To change the lane departure detection speed, tap the Home button ( ) on the Live view screen

LDWS (Lane Departure
Warning)
to switch the speed (
50km / 60km / 70km / 80km
).
