7. Remove the waffle from the grid with a non-metallic cooking utensil.
8. Repeat step 5, 6 and 7 for the second waffle.
9. If you want to make a second batch of waffles, close the lid, and wait
for the green light to shut off again.
10. If you want to take a few minutes before cooking the next batch,
close the lid to keep the appliance at baking temperature. Note that
the longer you wait, the hotter the baking plates will become, and
the next waffle may bake faster.
11. Once all your batter is cooked, unplug the power cord from the wall
socket. Open the cover to help the machine cool down. Do not wash
before it has cooled down completely.
TIPS AND TRICKS
In order to make a perfect waffle, do not over-fill the cooking plate, but
do make sure to have enough batter to cover the grid.
If you want more uniform waffles, use a heat-resistant silicone spatula to
spread the batter to the edge of the grid before closing the lid.
In order to keep the waffles crispy, put the cooked waffles on metal rack
and wait for them to cool down a little bit, so that the bottom doesn’t get
moist from the heat.
When making a large quantity of waffles at a time, pre-heat your oven at
200° F, and put the baked waffles into it to keep them warm.
A cold waffle can be placed back into the waffle maker for a minute of
two to warm it up and make it crisp again.
Do not use metal utensils to take out the waffles, as it may damage the
cooking plates.
