3.5 Operation
The Charger is designed to be operated from a computer configured
with the Chromeleon Chromatography Data Management System. The
Chromeleon software provides complete instrument control, data
acquisition, and data management.
For a basic description of instrument control and automated sample
analysis with Chromeleon, refer to the
Vanquish System Operating
Manual
. Details on control and operation of the Charger are available in
the
Chromeleon Help
.
TIP The Charger can be operated also with other data systems, such as
Xcalibur™. In this case, installation of additional software is required in
addition to the data system software. For details, contact the Thermo
Fisher Scientific sales organization.
To control the Charger, a Vanquish autosampler must be installed and
configured in Chromeleon. All functions for controlling the Charger are
part of the autosampler control interface.
