Safety Information
Warning The Symbol® Barcode Reader uses Class 1 and Class 2 lasers during normal operation.
Note
Class 1 laser devices are not considered harmful when used for their intended purpose.
Class 2 laser scanners use a low power, visible light diode; Momentary exposure to Class 2 lasers is not known to
be harmful.
Warning Do not stare into the barcode reader during operation.
Warning Do not disassemble the barcode reader as this may result in exposure to a Class 3A
laser.
