Thermo Fisher Scientific

2. Turn the tool to remove the insert from the skimmer cone.

3. Carefully remove the insert.

4. Clean the insert. Proceed as described in

“Cleaning the Sample

Cone and the Skimmer Cone”

page 8-19

using a 10% solution

of nitric acid.

5. After the cleaning procedure is completed, position the insert at the

tool again, see

Figure 8-15
