FLANGE EXISTS ON RANGE AT THE 
LOCATION DIRECTED BY ARROW.  REMOVE 
(2) EXISTING SHEET METAL SCREWS FROM 
FLANGE AND ATTACH BACKGUARD 
SUPPORT HERE WITH EXISTING SCREWS AS 
SHOWN IN FIGURE 3.  USE (2) PHILLIPS 
HEAD SHEET METAL SCREWS FROM KIT TO 
SECURE ASSEMBLY TO SHELF UPRIGHT 
AND INNER BURNER AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 
4. BOX SIDE PROCEDURE IS DONE TO 
BOTH SIDES OF SDHS. 

 
NOTE:

 WHEN LOCATING HOLES FOR 

PLATE, BE SURE SDHS IS STRAIGHT AND 
PLUMB. 
 
REINSTALL BACK PANEL.
