FLASH LATCH AND DISABLE MODES
LATCHED CHANNELS
You can set the Channel Flash keys to a push on-push off operation—Latch Mode for the first 72 channels, useful for single channel on-
off control of a variety of devices such as motors, strobe lights, smoke machines, and special effects.
1 Hold [LATCH], then press [FLASH], the key above the Channels Master: the Channels Latch LED will light.
2 Touch any of the Channel Flash keys to turn the channels on or off.
3 To cancel all Latched Channels simultaneously, hold [LATCH], then press [FLASH].
Note that the Mimic LEDs flash to indicate channels which are latched on. To reduce confusion, only latched channels are shown on the
Channel Mimic display in this mode. Setting Channel Latch mode cancels Kill mode, and vice-versa—a double press of the Kill key can
be used to cancel Channels Latch mode. Latched channel levels are only affected by the Grand Master.
LATCHED SCENES LATCH MODE
You can set the Scenemaster Flash keys to either of two latch modes useful for special effects: SOLO AUTO-CANCEL—a single,
latched, last takes precedence mode, or LATCH—a push-on push-off, highest takes precedence mode.
1 Press [LATCH]: the Latch LED lights GREEN to show SOLO AUTO-CANCEL Mode.
2 With the Scenes LED for that preset On, touch any Scenemaster or Submaster Flash key to turn it on and turn off the
previous selection (AUTO-CANCEL action).
3 Press [LATCH] again: the Latch LED will light RED to show LATCH Mode.
4 Touch any Scenemaster or Submaster Flash key to turn it on or off (LATCH on-off action).
5 To cancel all Latched Scenes simultaneously, press [LATCH] again: the Latch LED is turned off.
The Mimic LEDs of Latched Scenemasters flash, while Latched Submasters show RED when on. Scenemasters or Submasters not
recorded (LED Off) cannot be latched. Setting Scenes Latch Mode cancels Kill mode, and vice-versa—a double press of the Kill key can
be used to cancel Scenes Latch mode. Latched Scenes are affected by the Scenes Master and the Grand Master.
FLASH DISABLE
To prevent unwanted flashes of light, or unwelcome blackouts on stage, you can disable all Flash functions including DBO :
1 Hold [RECORD], then press [DBO]. The Flash Off LED will light green to show all Flash functions are disabled.
2 Press any Channel Flash key, or the DBO key: note that no output level is changed.
3 To re-enable Flash Mode, hold [Record], then press [DBO] to turn off the LED.
The Record LED may be on or off. Flash Disable automatically cancels Kill mode, and both Channels and Scenes Latch Mode.
