CUEMASTER II OPERATION

DELETING A SHOW

You can delete a Show to free up memory as follows:

>  Hold [RECORD], and press the Flash key of the Show. Wait for a long Mimic flash, then press it again.

The long Mimic flash after the first press of the Submaster Flash key is a warning that the Scenemaster holds a recording. Note that the
Record buffer must be empty (Record LED not flashing) to delete any recording under a Submaster.

STACKING SCENES INTO A SHOW

It is often convenient to plot levels and record cue states as Fade-Scenes for rehearsal purposes. When the levels are fixed you can
stack all the Fade-Scenes (with their fade times) into a Show under one fader for simple push-button operation in auto-fade mode:

1  Hold [RECORD] and [REC STACK], then press the Flash key of the first Fade-Scene, then release all keys.

2   Repeat step 1 to record all Fade-Scenes, changing to a new page where necessary.

3  Hold [RECORD], and press the Flash key of the selected Submaster to assign the recording.

4  Hold [RECORD] and [CHASE<<>>SHOW], and press the Submaster flash key to change the recording to a Show.

After a short Mimic flash, the Submaster Mimic LED flashes Yellow to indicate a Show recorded under the master. You can now run the
Show by setting the Submaster to Full for the opening lighting, and pressing the Cue Go key for all subsequent cues.

STACKING SHOWS AND FADE-SCENES

The Record Stack function also allows you to stack parts of a Show with Fade-Scenes under one fader for push-button operation. The
following example shows how to stack two Fade-Scenes, say the Opening Preset lighting and the Interval Preset, with the Act 1 Show
and the Act 2 Show, and record them all in order with their auto fade times under the old Act 1 Show:

1  If the Chase Reverse LED is on, press [CHASE REV] to turn it off. This sets the recording direction forward.

2  Hold [RECORD] and [REC STACK], then press the Flash key of the Opening Preset Fade-Scene.

3   Hold [RECORD] and [REC STACK], then press the Flash key of the Act 1 Show.

4   Hold [RECORD] and [REC STACK], then press the Flash key of Interval Preset Fade-Scene.

5   Hold [RECORD] and [REC STACK], then press the Flash key of the Act 2 Show.

6  Hold [RECORD], and press the Flash key of the Act 1 Scenemaster. Wait for a long Mimic flash, then press it again.

7  Hold [RECORD] and [CHASE<<>>SHOW], and press the Scenemaster flash key to change the recording to a Show.

You can now run the Show by setting the Show Submaster at Full for the first cue, and pressing Cue Go for all subsequent cues.

§

In Auto-fade mode, Record picks up the Auto time last loaded. This allows you to split Show cues back to Fade-Scenes with their
recorded fade times—with the Scene Fade at Auto, press Record after each Cue Go when the fade is complete, and assign the
Scene. When changed to a Fade-Scene, the auto fade time will be that of the original cue.
