Creating Wood Joints
Creating a mitre joint
Mitre joints are commonly used on picture frames because no end grain
shows .
Follow these instructions to make a mitre joint .

Cut your workpieces at exactly 45 degrees .

Place the 45-degree edge flat in the Join-A-Jig
™
.
Tip:
Position the workpiece so that the pocket hole will not
go through the edge of the workpiece .

Drill two pocket holes .
4
Align your pieces and clamp with a face clamp .
5
Use the Square Drive to drive in the screws.
