Diagnostic Analog Output Screen
The “
Relays”
option activates the following display:
There are eight total relays, two of
which are used for custom inputs. The
other six relays are activated when
either measurement or temperature
alarms are occurring or when purging.
Using the Front Panel buttons, all
relays can be tested by toggling the
output conditions and visually
checked by examining the relay
LEDS on the interface board. Also,
by supplying an external voltage, the
operator can test the custom input
relays.
The “
Anlg. Out
" diagnostic option activates the following display:
There are two outputs that produce a 0
- 10 volt or 4 - 20 mA signals for
process measurement and temperature.
Process measurement is displayed as
Analog 1 Out and temperature
(optional) is displayed as Analog 2
Out.
Using the Front Panel buttons, the
operator can test the outputs in min.,
mid., and max., value conditions.
Also, by editing the min. and max.
values, the operator can calibrate the
output to work more accurately with
various chart recorders.
NOTE:
The information displayed at the bottom gives the operator the output resolution which
is useful when editing the output values for chart recorder calibration.
