If an obstacle is to be cordoned off, it is important that the cable follows the direction that
you started from (see illustration).
REMEMBER:
The boundary cable must NOT cross over itself at any point.
Once you have laid out the boundary cable, check that the gaps have the precisely correct
lengths, and that you are satisfied with the way the cable is laid out in your garden. You
can now secure the cable using the pegs.
Take a hammer and now strike the pegs so that they are secure in the ground. Ensure that
the cable is completely taut when the pegs are struck into the ground, so that the cable lies
completely straight.
If you run out of boundary cable, you can purchase more cable at your TEXAS dealer or at
www.texas.dk (Product no.: 431752, 200 m)
If more cable needs to be purchased, or if the boundary cable is accidentally cut and
needs to be connected, use the accompanying cable connector (part 18).
Strip off about 1.5 cm of the insulation (strip off the plastic from the cable) from the cable
ends. Put the exposed cable wires into the cable connector and clamp the cable connector
together until you hear a click. The cable is now connected again.
When you have reached the charging station again, pull about another 1 m of extra cable,
to ensure that there is plenty of cable for the connection.
