Storage
Follow the procedure below when the machine is to be left unused for a long period. This will
ensure the machine has a long service life.
Use your garden hose to wash off any soil and dirt. The chassis number should only be
cleaned with a moist cloth otherwise it may be damaged. Avoid using a high pressure cleaner
for cleaning. Clean the machine with a damp cloth so all the surfaces are clean. Wipe the
surface with an oily cloth to prevent rust.
You should always store your machine in a clean, dry location.
Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes can reach an
open flame or spark.
Allow the engine to cool before storing in an enclosed space.
To reduce the hazard, keep the engine, silencer and petrol storage area free of vegetative
material and excessive grease.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Due to high sound pressure replace faulty silencers.
If the fuel tank has to be drained, this shall be done out doors.
Transportation
If the machine is still in the carton provided from the manufacturer, it can be moved by lifting
in the two handles on each side of the box.
If the machine is assembled, the consumer can move the machine by using the transport
wheels fitted on the machine. Push the handlebar downwards, until the accessory is clear of
the ground, then push or pull the machine.
When transporting the machine by car, make sure it is securely fastened.
Do not transport the machine with fuel in the fueltank.
