The gear is greased on delivery, never run the machine without grease on the
gear. See Maintenance section.
Never use the machine for any work other than that described in the manual.
Use only original accessories and spares. Fitting unauthorised parts can be
dangerous and is therefore illegal. The manufacturer waives all liability in the
event of an accident or other damage caused by use of non-original parts.
Before using the machine, ask the dealer or another expert to show you how to
operate it.
The person operating the machine is responsible for the safety of others in the
vicinity. Never use the machine when anyone else, especially children or
animals, are nearby.
The machine must not be used by children.
The machine should only be operated by persons who know how to use it.
Always make sure they have the manual as well.
The machine should only be operated by fit and healthy individuals. If you get
tired, take frequent breaks. Never use the machine after drinking alcohol.
The factory-fitted control units, such as the gear cable from the handle, must
not be removed or covered.
Always check that nuts and bolts are tight before starting the machine.
The exhaust becomes hot during operation. Be careful not to touch it.
Work only in daylight or in good artificial light.
Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
Walk, never run with the machine.
Show extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
Do not work on excessively steep slopes.
Use extreme caution when pulling the machine towards you.
Do not change the engine governor setting or over speed the engine.
Stop the engine whenever you leave the machine and before refueling.
