Noise and vibration precautions
1. Prolonged exposure to noise levels above 85 dB(A) is hazardous to hearing. Always
wear ear protection when operation or working around the machine.
2. Running at low speed can reduce noise and vibration.
3. In order to lower the noise, the machine should be operated in an open environment.
4. The vibration can be lowered if the handle is grasped firmly.
5. In order to lower the vibrations, use the machine on as flat surface as possible.
6. In order not to disturb others, the machine should only be used in daytime.
7. Always wear protective clothes when working with the machine such as gloves and
ear protection during operation.
8. Rest 30 minutes after every two hours of working time.

(1) Should be changed after the 2 first hours, and then after every 10 hours, or at least
once a year.
(2) If the machine is operated under very dirty conditions, the air filter should be cleaned
daily, or after every 5 hours operation.
(3) In most cases these repairs require special tools, if in doubt, ask your dealer.
Consumable parts
For machines sold under the brand “Texas”, Texas A/S provides 2 years warranty on
fabrication, for machines sold within Europe. The warranty does not cover fast easy wearing
parts such as :

For consumable parts Texas A/S provides 1 year warranty. Labour for covering exchange of
consumable parts is not covered by the warranty.
