The stones supplied must be placed in the heater and must completely cover the electrical resistances. It is forbidden to switch on the
heater without all the stones. If there is a drop in the level of the stones due to stones breaking up or settling, replace them with new stones
and remove the smaller stones.
To avoid the danger of a fire breaking out, it is absolutely forbidden to place inflammable objects on the heater or pour inflammable liquids
on it. Furthermore, it is forbidden to place any object on the heater or inside the heater even if it is switched off and to cover it in any way
whatsoever.
The essences normally used in saunas are diluted in water before use. Follow the instructions of the manufacturer of these essences.
To prevent the danger of fire, ensure that the metal plate “Attention – danger of fire” supplied with the sauna is fixed on the wall above the
heater so that it is clearly visible for the users.
In the case of successive treatments or painting of the wood parts inside the sauna, for which Teuco S.p.a. declines any responsibility,
utilise only water-based paints (not solvent-based paints). Bear in mind that painted wood can burn if it comes into contact with the skin.
Always use a towel to rest against walls. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any burns.
When the sauna is not utilised, switch off the electrical power using a thermomagnetic circuit breaker switch positioned upstream of the
installation.
If there is a fault or poor functioning of the sauna whilst the machine is under guarantee, exclusively contact an authorised technician.
The manufacturer will not respond for damages caused by tampered products or products improperly repaired. Using non-original or
unauthorised spare parts, accessories and consumables can represent a risk of injury and releases the manufacturer from any civil and
penal responsibility.
If the sauna is utilised by persons other than the owner, or for professional reasons, the owner must opportunely instruct the users about
the correct use of the sauna and the safety precautions. The manufacturer will not be held responsible if there is a lack of observance of
the safety instructions.
File this manual away for future use. If the sauna is resold, consign this manual to the new owner.
Before switching on the sauna or programming the timer, check that there are no objects on the heater or in the vicinity of the heater.
It is advisable to install the sauna on a wood or laminate floor or on materials that are sensitive to the absorption of humidity and/or
perspiration.
A drain in the sauna must not be connected. If a drain is present, take adequate precautions to avoid that the u-bend trap does not dry out
with the consequent bad odours that rise from the waste outlet.
Do not utilise the sauna under the effects of alcohol and/or drugs.
The sauna is manufactured from natural wood and is subject to structural settling over a period of time, on the basis of the operating
temperature and the humidity during installation.
Do not install the sauna utilising one of its walls as an enclosure of a shower unit or exposing a surface to water. The material is subject
to deterioration.
The Teuco S.p.a. sauna was conceived to be installed indoors and protected from the weather with temperature not below 8°C.
