HOW TO CLOSE LID OF PRESSURE COOKER
Before closing the pot, make sure that the silicone seal is correctly fitted over the entire lid of the top
lid and the metal filter is attached. Grasp the lid firmly and rotate it clockwise until you hear a click and
a beep. The mark on the lid
will be aligned on the mark
on the pot body.
Caution: If the silicone seal ring is damaged, stop cooking!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DAILY USE
Make sure the pressure cooker is working properly before each use:
NEVER USE PRESSURE WITHOUT INNER STAINLESS STEEL POT!
Ensure that the inner pot is completely dry before placing it in the pot body. After inserting the
stainless steel inner pot into the body of the pressure cooker, gently rotate it to ensure good contact
between the inner pot and the heater at the bottom of the pot. Check that the metal filter is clean. You
do not need to clean the metal filter after every use, but you should check it regularly and clean it if
necessary.
NOTICE
When cooking food such as dry beans, peas or lentils, we recommend that you first soak them.
During cooking, these foods tend to foam and could cause blockage of the venting pipe. Never cook
under the pressure apples, cranberries, rhubarb, pasta and dried soup mix.
Make sure you do not overfill inner pot over MAX PRESSURE COOK mark.
When cooking foods that are foaming or expanding like rice,
pods, beans, peas, lentils, dried vegetables or foods that are
mostly liquids like soups, never fill the inner pot more than half
of the pot volume!
Make sure you do not overfill inner pot over MAX RISE CUP ½ mark when cooking rice.
Do not exceed MAX RICE CUP ½ for cooking rice.
