Outputs (Wave Play 1/2, 3/4, Digital Play)
Here you can adjust the volume of the output signals, provided you have selected “Digital
Mixer” as the input signal in your routing. All other signals are sent straight to the output,
bypassing the faders. As with the input, a separate fader is available for each mono
channel. The individual channels can be joined using the switchable stereo link function. A
“Mute” button can be used to mute the playback. If two mono channels are linked, clicking
the mute button for the stereo pair is sufficient.
Master
The overall playback level can be set with the Master control of the digital mixer.
Note:
If you are working with common audio/MIDI sequencers, you
should also use the this software for volume control. The advan-
tage: the settings are usually saved together with your project
(song, arrangement etc.).

Master Clock
Here we're dealing with the sample rate used by the PHASE X24 FW. This is a very
important point, as the card can be clocked by an external signal (External, e.g. from a
DAT recorder) or it can set a sampler rate itself and provide this signal to other devices.
When choosing “Internal”, you can choose from all commonly used sampler rates from 32
to 192 kHz—the actual bit rate is not important at this point. The external sample rate,
