Practical tip:

While recording, try to achieve as high a recording

level as possible to benefit best from the wide dynamic range of
the 24-bit converter. As a rule of thumb for good recordings, al-
ways take the following into account: a clean “take” is much more
valuable than the best plug-in for later sound correction.
