Continued Use Instructions:
All machine operators must be notified of these continued use requirements.
1. Maximum Allowable Travel Height Issue (GS-3232 machines only): Machines may
remain in service while waiting for this software update provided the operator follow
the instructions on the machine. The machine will sound an audible error/fault alarm
when it reaches approximately 22 ft / 6.7 m of elevation.
i.
Limit the maximum travel height to 22 ft / 6.7 m.
ii.
Do not attempt to activate the lift function, or lift any further when this alarm is
triggered at 22 ft / 6.7 m.
iii.
The machine must be leveled on the outriggers to elevate above 22 ft / 6.7 m.
2. Unintended Machine Movement Issue (GS-3232 & GS-3246 machines): Machines may
remain in service provided the diagnostic display on the platform controller does not
read error code C025 during operation. If the display reads C025 during operation, then
do the following:
i.
Retract the extension deck if it is extended.
ii.
Fully lower the machine to the ground
iii.
Press E-stop at the ground control location
iv.
Remove the machine from service and call the Genie Service Department.
Work Instructions:
You will need the following to perform the software update:

A laptop computer or desktop with an ethernet port and internet browser
•
An Ethernet (CAT 5) network cable of suitable length
1. Locate all machines within the model and serial range referenced above.
2. Delete the software 137641J.gff and older from you computer and destroy the thumb drive
P/N 218136 Rev A in your inventory.
3. Access

Note: If you cannot access the website, you may order thumb drive kit P/N 219268. One kit
can be used on multiple machines.
