QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE
Every 250 hours of use, check the vacuum motors for
carbon brush wear. Replace the brushes if worn to a
length of 10mm or less (Figure 44). Contact your
Authorized Service Center for carbon brush
inspection.

ACCESSING INTERNAL COMPONENTS
The machine is designed to hinge open to access
internal components. Follow the steps below to open
machine.
ATTENTION: Machine repairs must be performed
by authorized personnel only.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, unplug
cord from wall outlet.
1.
Empty the recovery and solution tanks before
opening the machine.
2.
Unplug the power cord from wall outlet.
3.
Unlatch the two latches at the front of the machine
and carefully hinge the machine open (Figure 45).

4.
When closing the machine, make sure the hoses
are not pinched or kinked.
STORING MACHINE
1.
Before storing the machine, perform the
recommended maintenance procedures (See
MACHINE MAINTENANCE).
2.
Store the machine in a dry area in the upright
position.
3.
Open the recovery tank cover to promote air
circulation.
WARNING: Do Not Use Outdoors. Do Not
Expose to Rain. Store Indoors.
ATTENTION: DO NOT ALLOW MACHINE TO
FREEZE WITH WATER IN PUMP SYSTEM.
STORING MACHINE IN FREEZING
TEMPERATURES
1.
Drain and rinse tanks thoroughly.
2.
Pour 1 liter of undiluted standard antifreeze into
solution tank.
3.
Spraying into a bucket, operate spray gun for 30
seconds at low pressure.
4.
Allow antifreeze to remain in system.
