MACHINE MAINTENANCE
To keep the machine in good working condition, follow
the machine’s daily, monthly and quarterly
maintenance procedures.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, unplug
cord from wall outlet.
ATTENTION: Machine repairs must be performed
by authorized personnel only.
HOUR METER
Each machine is equipped with an hour meter to
record total hours of pump use. Use the hour meter to
determine when to perform recommended
maintenance procedures and to record service history
(Figure 36).

DAILY MAINTENANCE
1.
Clean the metering tip and flush out the blue
injector tube as described below:
a.
Fill the solution tank with 11 liters of clean
water.
b.
Remove the metering tip from the injector tube
and clean the tip. Do not use pointed objects
such as pins and paper clips to unplug the tips
(Figure 37).

c.
Submerge the end of injector tube into a 4.4
liter container of clean water (Figure 38).

d.
Adjust the spray gun to the low pressure by
pushing the spray nozzle outward.
e.
Turn the cleaning agent on/off lever to the ( I )
position, located at the front of the machine.
f.
Turn the pump switch on and operate the
spray gun for approximately one minute.
g.
Place cap on the injector hose after flushing.
2.
Drain and rinse the recovery tank thoroughly
(Figure 39).

3.
Remove the float shut–off screen from the
recovery tank and clean (Figure 40).

4.
Empty any leftover water from the solution tank if
storing machine for an extended period or if
transporting the machine (See DRAINING
TANKS).
