UNPACKING MACHINE
Carefully check carton for signs of damage. Report
damages to carrier immediately.

PREPARING MACHINE FOR CLEANING
APPLICATION
INSTALLING THE LIQUID CLEANING AGENT
(FORMULA 710) CONTAINER
“Formula 710 Multi-Surface Acid Cleaner” agent is
specifically designed and recommended for use in this
machine. It is formulated to clean soap scum, hard
water scale, and soils typically found in restrooms,
showers, swimming pool areas, etc. Use only on
water-resistant surfaces. To order the “Formula 710
Multi-Surface Acid Cleaner” or an approved substitute,
contact your Tennant supplier.
ATTENTION: Use of unapproved or inappropriate
chemicals may cause damage to machine and
surfaces and could void your warranty
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, follow
mixing, handling, and disposal instructions
provided on chemical container instructions and
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
1. Remove cap from the blue injector tube. Do not
misplace cap (Figure 1). Use cap to prevent injector
tube from clogging when machine is not in use.

2. Select the desired metering tip (Tips supplied with
machine) and thread tip into the blue injection tube
on the machine (Figure 2). Dispensing rates
shown are for the “Formula Multi-Surface Acid
Cleaner” agent. Substitute agents may have
different dispensing rates. The orange tip is
factory installed on .
Orange Tip= 15ml./L (2 oz. per gallon)
for light cleaning.
Red Tip= 30ml./L (4 oz. per gallon)
for medium cleaning.
Blue Tip= 44ml./L (6 oz. per gallon)
for heavy cleaning.

3. Place the cleaning agent container into the
accessory tools/cleaning agent compartment.
Remove cap from container and attach blue
injector tube cap. Push blue tube to bottom of
container (Figure 3).

ATTENTION: Do not add acid cleaning agent
(Formula 710) to the solution tank.
