2.16 Realtime Mode with AirScout Spectrum Manager
To use Airscout Spectrum with AirScout Spectrum Manager in Realtime mode, follow these steps:
1. Turn Airscout Spectrum on.
2. From the main screen tap TOOLS & SETTINGS, then tap SERVICE MENU. Tap USB MODE.
3. If the USB mode is already set to VIRTUAL COM PORT, do nothing. If the USB mode is set to MASS
STORAGE DEVICE, set it to VIRTUAL COM PORT by tapping OK.
4. Connect the device to a PC with installed AirScout Spectrum Manager software.
5. Launch AirScout Spectrum Manager.
6. Either select “Start Realtime” (if there is only one Airscout Spectrum device connected to the PC)
or wait for the AirScout Spectrum Manager to detect all connected devices and then choose the desired
one from a drop-down list. The real-time sweep should be now shown on the graph. See AirScout
Spectrum Manager user manual for further details.
