ENGLISH
6.- ACCES CODE
The 8PSK-QAM allows a 4-digit access
code to be used optionally, using values
outside of the input frequency range (0000-
0949 and 2151-9999), thereby allowing for
8799 different access codes.
The access code for the 8PSK-QAM
operates as follows:
- To enter an access code, an input channel
must be saved in the range of unused
frequencies. Pressing the
key for
approximately 3 seconds will bring up the
following screen:
- To check the password, the
key must
be held down for approximately 3
seconds. The screen will show the
following message:
The paswword
will be set
to:
2930
- From this moment a key symbol will be
shown in the upper right-hand side of the
screen, indicating that the unit is blocked:
-
If any attempt is made to change a
parameter, the user will be asked to enter
the password in the following screen:
The user must enter the correct password
and save it (by pressing the

5.4.- STATUS LEDS
Finally, the LEDS of the programmer show
working conditions of the device:
Insufficient input signal/noise ratio
QPSK modulator unlocking
QAM modulator unlocking
QAM modulator locking
Finally, the front LED incorporates a direct
view of the status of the device, showing a
quick blinking in case of an unlock condition
of the QPSK demodulator or QAM
modulator, which blinking dissapears when
the lock condition is restored.
