Example 2: Generate a Square Waveform
Generate a square waveform with 5kHz frequency, 2Vpp amplitude, 1Vdc
offset and 30% duty cycle.
Steps:
Set the frequency.
1. Press Waveforms → Square → Frequency/Period and choose Frequency
which will display in blue color.
2. Input ‘5’ from the keyboard and choose the unit ‘kHz’. The frequency is
set to 5kHz.
Set the Amplitude.
1. Press Amplitude/HighLevel to choose Amplitude which will display in
blue color.
2. Input ‘2’ from the keyboard and choose the unit ‘Vpp’. The amplitude is
set to 2Vpp.
Set the Offset.
1. Press Offset/LowLevel to choose Offset which will display in blue color.
2. Input ‘1’ from the keyboard and choose the unit ‘Vdc’. The offset is set
to
1Vdc.
Set the DutyCycle.
1. Press DutyCycle to choose DutyCycle which will display in blue color.
2. Input ‘30’ from the keyboard and choose the unit ‘%’. The duty is set to
30%.
