9 Maintenance
Maintenance mainly involves replacing any sensors that no longer meet their original
metrological specifications.
The operations explained in this section must be performed by authorized, qualified
personnel because they could affect detection reliability. Inspection and maintenance
must be carried out in accordance with the current editions of EN60079-17 and
eventually with any local or national additional requirements that may apply in the
country of installation.
