Navigate to
Composite DC Offset
and press
SEL
to automatically adjust
the offset.

Follow the instructions at the bottom of the screen to Save and Exit
Calibration mode.

Perform the following steps if the Amplitude is outside the specification:

Connect a 100% color bar signal from the precision generator to the
Composite A input. Terminate the loop through with a precision 75
Ω
termination.

Press the
CONFIG
button.
4.
Navigate to
Utilities
>
Calibration
, and then press
SEL
.
5.
Select
Composite Waveform Gain
, and then press
SEL
.
6.
Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the gain.
7.
Follow the instructions at the bottom of the screen to Save and Exit
Calibration mode.
If the Frequency Response is outside the specification, follow this adjustment
procedure:
1.
Connect the precision video generator to one of the CMPST A input
connectors and terminate the other connector with the precision terminator.
2.
Set the precision generator for 700 mV Multiburst. The top packet must be
5.75 MHz.
3.
Press the
CONFIG
button.
4.
Navigate to
Utilities
>
Calibration
, and then press
SEL
.
5.
Select
Composite Freq Peak
and then press
SEL
.
6.
Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the response.
7.
Follow the instructions at the bottom of the screen to Save and Exit
calibration mode.
8.
Repeat the Composite Analog Frequency Response test in the Performance
Verification procedure.
