Powering On and Off
This section contains the procedure for powering on the instrument for the first
time. To power off the instrument, refer to
Powering off
on page 1--18.
Power on the measurement set as follows:
1.
Press the On/Standby switch to power on the instrument (see Figure 1--12 for
the switch location).

2.
Wait for the instrument to complete power-on self-tests.
The screen displays an Enter Windows Password dialog box prompting you
for a logon name and password. However, if a password is entered then each
time you power on the measurement set you will be prompted for logon
information. To avoid this, do the following steps:
a.
Enter a user name (for example, RFA300A) in the Enter Windows
Password dialog box.
b.
Click OK, but do not enter a password.
c.
Click OK in the Set Windows Password dialog box, but do not enter a
password.
