Adjust the oscilloscope horizontal and vertical position controls
to display a signal similar to that shown in Figure 13.
NOTE
. Do not touch the probe tip adapter when making calibration
measurements. Measurement accuracy is degraded when the probe
tip adapter is handled.

Use the oscilloscope measurement capability to display rise time.
Rise time is determined from the 10% and 90% amplitude points
on the waveform. Record the rise time as

Calculate the probe only rise time using the following formula:

Check that the calculated rise time meets the probe specification.
