TIME  MEASUREMENTS

Tim e  Duration

To  measure  time  between  two  points  on  a  waveform,  use  the

 

following  procedure:

1.  Apply  the  signal  to  either  the  CHI  or  the  CH2  input  connec­

tor and  set the  VERTICAL  MODE  selector to  display the  chan­

nel  used.

2.  Adjust  the  TRIGGER  LEVEL  control  to  obtain  a  stable  display.

3.  Set  the  SEC/DIV  control  to  display  between  one  and  two

 

complete  repetitions  of the  waveform. 

Check that  the  SEC/

 

DIV  variable  control  is  in  the  CAL  detent.
