Immediately afterward, insert a cooking
time between 1 and 99 minutes by using
the sensor buttons
or
(5/4). With
the first, the value will begin at 1. With
the second, the value will begin at 30.
By touching both at the same time, the
value will be restored to

.
After a short time, the clock will begin to
control the time automatically. The indica-
tor light (9) corresponding to the cooking
zone where the timer is being used will
stay lit. If you want to set the timer for ano-
ther heating element, repeat steps 2 and
3.
Once the chosen time has passed, the
heating element where the timer was used
will disconnect and the clock will emit a
series of beeps for several seconds. The
time indicator will show a flashing
00
together with the indicator light of the hea-
ting element that has been disconnected.
If the cooking zone that has been turned
off is hot, its indicator will have an
H
or, if it
is not hot, a
0
. To stop the beeping, touch
any sensor button.
Modifying the programmed time
To modify the programmed time, touch the
sensor button of the clock
(7). It will
then be possible to read and change the
time by using the sensor buttons
or
(5/4).
DISCONNECTING THE TIMER
If you want to stop the timer before the
programmed time has finished.

Touch the sensor button of the clock
(7) and then touch sensor buttons
(5) and
(4) at the same time. The
timer time will be cancelled.
Using the clock as
a countdown timer
In these models, the clock can be used as
a chronometer to count backward, even if
the timer is being used for a heating ele-
ment.

Input the desired time by using the sen-
sor buttons

(5/4). The corres-
ponding indicator light (9) will blink.
Once the chosen time has passed, the
clock will emit a series of beeps for seve-
ral seconds. To stop the beeping, touch
any of the sensor buttons, except the
on/off sensor button
(1).
The timer still works when the hob is dis-
connected. To change the time, it is neces-
sary to connect the cooker using the on/off
sensor button
(1).

indicator light blinks. It will then be possi-
ble to read and change the time.
Energy supplied according to
the power level selected
Remember that the heating ele-
ments adjust the energy supplied accor-
ding to the size and type (material) of the
piece of cookware being used. A smaller
piece of cookware will receive less energy
than a larger piece of cookware.
