MODIFYING THE POWER LEVEL
DURING THE HEAT-UP
1
Change the power using sensor button
(5).
The automatic boost function will stop
if the cookware is taken off the heating
element. If the cookware is once again
placed on the heating element (10
minutes), the automatic boost function
will restart where it left off.
It is not possible to active the automatic
boost function on the heating elements if
the
Power
function is activated.
DISCONNECTING THE HEAT-UP FUNC-
TION
1
Touch sensor button
(4).
The automatic boost function is automati-
cally deactivated and the heating element
will stay on at a constant power level.
Power function
(Concentration of power)
It is possible to concentrate additional
power in the cooking zones (see values
indicated with an * in the Presentation sec-
tion) by using the
Power
function.
1
Press sensor button
(4) to adjust the
cooking level to the maximu
12
.
2
Then press increase sensor button
(5) to activate the Power function. The
power level indicator will show the
P
symbol.
The Power function has a maximum dura-
tion of 10 minutes. After this time, the
power level will automatically adjust to
power level
12
.
The cooker has an induction generator
that works with a maximum power of 3,700
watts. Therefore, the Power function can-
not be used at the same time on two hea-
ting elements.
Once the Power function has been activa-
ted on one heating element, the other hea-
ting element may use the remaining power
up to a total of 3,700 watts. If its power
level is too high, the touch control panel
will automatically decrease it and the
corresponding power indicator (3) will
blink.
The Power function may be disconnected
by pressing sensor button
(4) while the
cooking zone is chosen.
The function may also disconnect automa-
tically if the temperature of the cooking
zone is too high. If the cookware is taken
off of the cooking zone while the Power
concentration function is activated, the
remaining time of the function will be detai-
ned. If cookware is once again placed on
the cooking zone before the cookware
detection time has passed (10 minutes),
the remaining time will start.
The Power function can also be activated
without placing cookware on the cooking
zone, but the cooking element will not
supply energy until cookware has been
placed on the cooking zone.
The Power function has priority over the
automatic boost function; therefore, if the
Power function is being used, the automa-
tic boost function will be cancelled in the
cooking zones of the corresponding side.
