• This appliance complies with the safety
rules and conditions in force and with
the following directives :
- Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive 89/336/EC modified by
Directives 92/31/EC and 93/68/EC,
- Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EC
modified by Directive 93/68/EC.

Like any other cooking appliance,
watch your grill carefully if you are
using it near children. Keep the
grill out of children’s reach. Do not
leave unattended.
• Owing to the diversity of applicable
standards, if this appliance is used in a
country other than where it was
purchased, before using have it
checked at an approved service centre.
• Keep your appliance away from
sources of heat.
• Check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the rating indicated on
the appliance (AC only).
• Do not leave the cord hanging or
touching hot parts of the grill. Do not
unplug by pulling the cord.
• Always plug the appliance into an
earthed socket.
• If you use a cable reel, remember to
unwind the extension fully.
• Only use extensions in good condition
with an earthed plug and a conductor
with a section at least equal to the
cord supplied with the product.
• Make sure that the electrical
installation is adequate to feed an
appliance with this power rating.
• The surface may get hot when the
appliance is on. Use the handles and
knobs.
• To avoid electrical shocks, do not
plunge the cord, plug or appliance in
water or any other liquid.
• Should certain parts of the product
catch fire, never attempt to put it out
with water. Unplug the appliance and
smother the flames with a damp cloth.
• Never store flammable products near
or under the unit where the appliance
is placed.
• Do not use the appliance if :
- the cord is faulty,
- the appliance has been dropped and
presents visible damage or operating
problems.
In this case, the appliance must be sent
to your nearest approved after-sales
service centre as a safety precaution.
• Do not operate the appliance
underneath a wall mounted unit, a
shelf or near flammable materials such
as blinds, curtains, etc.
• Do not use the appliance as a source of
heat.
• Never put paper, card or plastic into
the appliance and never put anything
on top (utensils, objects, etc.).
• For your safety, never dismantle the
appliance yourself; always refer to an
approved service centre.
• This appliance has been designed for
domestic use only. The manufacturer
shall not be liable if the appliance is
used for professional or inappropriate
purposes or in a way that does
not comply with the operating
instructions. Any guarantee will also be
invalidated in this case.
• Do not move the appliance while
in use.
• This appliance must be supervised
at all times while in use.
