3.3.1 System Mode
There are two items for selecting:
Waveform mode
Large numeric mode
Then confirm the selection by Function button.
3.3.2 Patient Type
The Patient Type can be set to different measuring mode: Adu for Adult or Pediatric
patient, or Neo for Neonate patient.
Set Patient Type to Adu or Neo, and confirm it by Function button.
3.3.3 Alarm Volume
The Alarm Volume is used to adjust alarm volume, which ranges from 1 to 5.
When the Alarm System is ON, if Low alarm, Medium alarm or High alarm occurs, the
oximeter sounds beep.
3.3.4 Pulse Volume
User can turn on or off the pulse volume by Pulse Volume, and change volume level to 1,
2, 3, 4, 5 or OFF. Press Function button to enter setup state, then use Up Arrow or Down
Arrow button to choose, then confirm it by Function button.
The oximeter implements variable pulse tone whose frequency varies according to the
saturation.
3.3.5 Audio Paused (s)
Set the paused period for audio alarm to 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds.
When the Alarm System is ON, press Alarm Silence button can turn off the audio alarm,
the paused period is set by the Audio Paused (s).
