Lower the side of the handle with the RED (A) sticker to lock the drum; lower the side of the handle with the GREEN (B) sticker to release it).
OPTION “RI”, insulated rotary suspension (Fig.5)
Permits to electrically insulate the load hung on the balancer, e.g. in the case of suspension of welding devices and/or turn the hanging tool freely
without twisting the cable.
ATTENTION: always comply with the safety regulations relative to the electrical equipment.
Installation: insert the snap-hook (39) into the pin (E) of the rotary suspension Insert the cable thimble (36) into the pin (F); insert the split-pin (D) and
deform it.

aIntenance
ATTENTION: check the condition of the ground cable and the tightening of the screw
(EN 13463-
1:2009) on a regular basis (for instance, once after every work shift) and carefully remove dust so that
it will not build-up, i.e. not more than 5 mm.
ATTENTION: replace the drum every 100,000 (hundred thousand) cycles.
Maintenance may be carried out only by skilled and authorized personnel.
Use original TECNA S.p.A. spare parts only. When requesting spare parts, the Customer should kindly contact the supplier of the balancer or the
manufacturer directly, specifying the equipment’s identification data printed on the plate.
Do not make any modification to the rope group and, specifically, DO NOT SHORTEN the rope: if needed, please get in touch with the supplier or the
manufacturer directly.
Never disassemble the balancer. Maintenance is to be carried out only by skilled, authorized per-
sonnel.

The use of non-original TECNA S.p.A. spare parts will negatively affect safety and performance and, in any case, it will void the warranty.
WARNING: The rope and the drum-spring are not covered by warranty.

Isposal
At the end of the work life of the balancer, proceed as follows:
- Rewind the rope completely
- Unhook the load from the balancer
- Unhook the balancer from the primary and safety connections.
- Proceed to fully discharge the balancer spring.
Once the balancer has been discharged, it must be disposed of complying with the rules and regulations in force.
