2.8 Set-up of the analog or frequency DUT-E sensor
Setup and calibration of analog and frequency DUT-E is not required.
2.9 Set-up of the digital DUT-E sensor
ATTENTION!
Setup of the digital DUT-E can be possible only be means of the program
"Service DUT-E" and service kit SK DUT-E (should be purchased separately).
Detailed description of configuration options DUT-E described in the operating manual for
service kit SK DUT-E.
All DUT-E are delivered calibrated.
The calibration will be broken after the length cutting or increasing of digital DUT-E sensors.
Calibration of the sensor is possible only with the help of Service kit SK DUT-E. Detailed
information about calibration process is given in the operation manual for SK DUT-E.
By means of the "Service DUT-E" software you can also set the desired DUT-E modes:
- Filtration time (default setting 10s);
- Interval of periodic data output (default setting 1s);
- Data output mode (default setting HEX) (See Figure 17).
Filtration time is the time interval that precede the data transmission and which is used to
calculate the average fuel level in the tank. Thus, the value of the fuel level in the tank
which is transmitted by the sensor to the recording and display device is not the instant
value, but the averaged value over the set period of time which has preceded the moment
of the data transfer.

For the DUT-E 485 the setting of the unique address for each sensor in the network RS 485
is also available (See Figure 17).
