cut the DUT-E measuring part based on the location of the tube end at a distance of
2-3 cm from the tank bottom (see Fig. 9)

clean the edges from burrs and shavings to remove all elements that can cause
electrical interlocking of the tubes of the measuring part between each other (see
Fig. 10)

in case of DUT-E 232 or DUT-E 485 cutting you should calibrate the sensor using the
Service kit SK DUT-E (See item 2.9).
