8.3.
CHAIN ALIGNMENT
Version A:

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.7. “Disassembling the right and left side
casings”.
1.
From both sides of the machine, use a marker
pen to fix a reference point between cam
a
and the frame.
Working from the left-hand side:

Unscrew the 2 screws

which clamp cam
a
to the frame using a 4-mm hex T wrench.

Remove snap ring
c
using the special pliers.
4.
Remove the cam.
5.
Use a pointed tool to push pin
d
inward until
the spacers come out, being careful to
recover the Teflon spacer and the washers if
present.
6.
Move the spacers from one side to the other
to align the chain.
To ensure correct alignment of the chain,
move it back and forth and make sure
that there is no noise.
After completing this procedure, check
the chain tension as described in
paragraph 8.4.
