Filming a video
Select the ‘Video Recorder’ option from the Camera menu.

After a short delay, the display will show a view from the camera lens.
The display will also show the elapsed and maximum filming time
possible at the current resolution setting.
To start filming the video, press the shutter button on top of the
•
player.
The player will begin filming as you release the shutter button and the
elapsed time of the video will be shown.
Whilst filming a video, press the shutter button to pause or re-
•
start the video.
When you have finished filming, press the
•
button to save the
video file.

Using the player as a PC camera
Connect a USB cable to your player from the computer.

The USB menu will be displayed.
Select the ‘Charge & Play’ option from the USB menu.

Wait for the Main menu to appear.
•
Select the ‘Camera’ option.
•
Select the ‘PC Camera’ option from the Camera menu.
•
The display will show a PC camera. After a short delay, the camera will
initialise and will become available to your PC for software that requires
a camera.
When you have finished using your player as a PC camera, unplug
•
the USB cable.
The Main menu will be displayed.
