router ospf area config
Configures an OSPF area
SYNTAX:
router ospf area config
id = <ip-address>
[priority = <number{0-255}>]
[hello_interval = <number{1-3600}>]
[dead_interval = <number{1-3600}>]
[ase_pref = <number{0-255}>]
where:
id
The unique id of this OSPF Area. A value of 0.0.0.0 signals
that the area is a backbone area.
REQUIRED
priority
Specifies the priority for becoming the designated router.
This parameter only applies for broadcast media
OPTIONAL
hello_interval
Specifies the time between hello packets in seconds
OPTIONAL
dead_interval
Specifies the number of seconds which may elaps without
receiving a hello packet before declaring it down
OPTIONAL
ase_pref
Sets the M-RIB preference for OSPF ASE routes . Default
preference value is 10
